Grow with us while we are still planting

City Farmers is opening to a small group of early growers. You get a packet code for the seeds you want to try, and you tell us what works and what does not. Nothing to download: it runs in your phone's browser.

Install it

Add it to your home screen

It then opens full screen from an icon, like any other app, and can send you care reminders.

Android (Chrome)

  1. Open cityfarmers.in in Chrome.
  2. Tap the menu ⋮.
  3. Tap Install app (or Add to Home screen).

iPhone (Safari)

  1. Open cityfarmers.in in Safari. Other browsers cannot install it.
  2. Tap Share.
  3. Choose Add to Home Screen.

On iPhone, reminders only work once the app is added to the Home Screen.

Computer

  1. Open cityfarmers.in in Chrome or Edge.
  2. Click the install icon at the right end of the address bar.

Or just use it in the browser: it works the same.

What to try

Seven things worth a few minutes

You do not have to do them all. Whatever you try, the most useful thing you can tell us is where you got stuck.

  • Scan a packet code and add your plant to your garden.
  • Set the sowing date and read the guidance for your plant's growth stage.
  • Tick off a care task when you have done it.
  • Ask the grow guide a question in your own language, and tap a source to check it.
  • Send a photo of a leaf and see what it says.
  • Turn on reminders and see if they arrive when you expect.
  • Tell us one thing that confused you, and one thing you liked.

Feedback takes 30 seconds

Inside the app, open Profile and tap Send feedback. Pick what it is about, add a rating if you like, and write a few words in Hindi, Hinglish or English. It goes straight to the team.

Good to know while we test

  • Each account can ask up to 40 questions a day, so everyone gets a turn.
  • The AI can be wrong. Tap the source on any answer and check it.
  • Things will change, and some rough edges are expected. That is why you are here.
  • Please do not put personal information in questions or photos. See the privacy page.
